Luggage storage

When you hit the road on a motorcycle, the question of what you can or cannot take with you necessarily arises, sometimes even for a short distance trip. This choice is important because it impacts our comfort and sometimes also possibly our safety when traveling. For Vibrations, the questions (and the answers we can provide) that every motorcyclist must ask themselves before hitting the road regarding luggage are as follows: Limited storage capacity: a motorcycle, compared to another type of vehicle (like a car for example), offers less space for luggage. You must therefore adapt the volume of what you take and plan your trip accordingly. Impact on aerodynamics and handling: adding luggage items can change the aerodynamics of your motorcycle and affect its handling. For example, a “net” (a sort of spider web that is attached to the rear of the motorcycle), if it is poorly adjusted or poorly hung can change the balance of the motorcycle. Security and protection against theft: the saddlebags and other luggage that are installed on the motorcycles offered for rental by Vibrations are not all secure against theft. It is therefore important not to leave any valuable items in these saddlebags or luggage when the motorcycle is left unattended. Waterproofing and durability: Protection from bad weather is another concern. The saddlebags and other luggage that are installed on the motorcycles offered for rental by Vibrations are waterproof to a little rain. You will simply need to ensure that the luggage that you install on the motorcycle is waterproof with a “net” (figure 1) or on a “sissy bar” (figure 2). Figure 1. Figure 2. To make your motorcycle trip comfortable and safe, you will need to identify your needs in advance and look for suitable luggage solutions. We can help you, contact us. We have various solutions for the motorcycles that you will rent with Vibrations. Indeed, for both the Sportster and Touring & Cruiser family motorcycles, you can benefit from semi-rigid or rigid saddlebags but also, if you wish, “sissy bars” or even “barbecues” on some of them. Below you will find details of the luggage fitted to each of the motorcycles offered for rental by Vibrations: Domino is a Sportster equipped with 2 semi-rigid saddlebags totaling 30 liters which allow you to carry For example, a cabin suitcase (55 x 35 x 23 cm (H x W x D)) has a capacity of 37 liters.
